We use it EVERY weekend! Easy, Tasty, Fun!
We have used this pan every weekend for a year. Don't bother making mix from scratch - Hungry Jack's "just add water" pancake mix makes wonderfully light and fluffy Ebelskivers. We add blueberries and raspberries to our Ebelskivers (fresh in season, frozen but thawed in warm water the rest of the year).

Yes, it is nonstick but I find a little butter is necessary to keep the Ebelskivers from sticking if they have fruit in them, plus the butter is essential to taste, in my opinion. I add a small, thin slice of butter to the bottom of each Ebelskiver hole once it's hot (heat over low or medium low heat). Once the butter melts, add batter to each hole to just slightly below the hole's rim (beware, center hole heats quickest, so add butter to that hole last and add batter to that hole first). Now add fruit or jelly to center until batter rises to rim or just above the rim.

Once brown on bottom, use a small silicone heat resistant spatula to flip the Ebelskivers over. While the flip takes a little practice, it is easy to catch on to. Trust me, guests and family will be impressed with these unusual breakfast treats AND will be amazed at the taste! We top our Ebelskivers with real maple or blueberry syrup and a small dollop of whipped cream ("Reddy Wip" make not be haute cuisine, but it sure tastes good!).

NOTE ABOUT CAST IRON: We also own a cast iron Ebelskiver pan, which we hate. No matter how many times I've tried to season and oil the pan, the Ebelskivers stick - which ruins the Ebelskivers. Plus, I have a bad neck which is irritated by trying to use caste iron, which is very heavy and difficult to use for making Ebelskivers. Just be sure to wash the nonstick pan by hand and don't use forks or other metal utensils to turn the Ebelskivers.

Not a bad product
The first Venta 370 I purchased was broken after 7 days of usage. It would turn on but no mist was coming out, even though the room humidity was at 34% and humidifier setting was set at 55%.

I took it back to BB&B and exchanged it with no problem. I've been using the replacement for 3 months without any problems. I ended up buying two more Venta 370.

Below are some problems people have reported:

1. Water collecting on top of the humidifier. I had the same problem, but turn down the humidifier output from 3 bars to 2 bars fixed the problem.

2. The maintenance free box is very delicate. Inside the box there is a gray bar to supposedly clean the water and de-mineralize the water. The problem with this, if you move the venta too much with the water in the Venta Humidifier Maintenance-Free Box, the gray bar will break, thus humidifier will turn on but no mist.

I believe this is the best humidifier that is currently available, make sure you buy from BB&B because they have the best return policy. I had a Vornado Air purifier that broke after 3 years of usage, took it back to BB&B with receipt, they gave me the newest model.

very disappointed
so i was so excited when i received this and plugged it in and got the stuff out for grilled cheese. when it heats fully the red light goes off -well i tried different outlets and left it plugged in for more than ten minutes and it never heated up. the lights were on but it never worked. i was very disappointed.

An absolute great treat for kiddies of all ages! My son and I use this as one of our Halloween projects. He helps me pour the batter into the molds and helps me decorate the "friendly" ghosts. We use extra frosting to make the ghosts look "fluffy" and also use hard candies, sprinkles and colored frosting. The ideas are endless and my son and I enjoy the time we spend together! The treats are also well received by his classmates when we bring them to his Halloween party! Kids love them!

I find these to be comfortable and that they work as described. Electronic muffs are overall a better choice but these were more within my budget and easier to carry.
