Pay close attention to the instruction book - can give inaccurate results
In the instruction guide step 3 states "As soon as enough blood has filled the confirmation window of the test strip, the iPet meter will beep and begin counting down from 8 to 1". In reality, the meter will beep when ANY blood reaches the confirmation window. There is note that says "To ensure accurate results make sure the confirmation window is completely filled with the blood sample".
One morning my dog was running high. I checked his blood glucose an hour later and the meter said 128 which didn't make any sense. Ran another test and used up a second strip and the true reading was 329 which was more reasonable. In comparing the test strips - the confirmation window on one strip was 1/2 full and it gave the incorrect reading. The other was full for the 'correct' reading.
Not only will this meter 'beep' if any blood is in the confirmation window, the reading you receive is relative to the amount of blood in the sample. I've asked Ulti-met for a refund and have decided to order the AlphaTRAK that will not give false postive results. The AlphaTRAK will only give a reading if it has an adequate sample.

We've tried a lot of toilet bowl cleaners. We have well water, and scum builds up in the toilet very easily. I use the Lime Away regularly, and barely have to scrub the inside of the toilet. It works really efficiently.

Does it's job
I bought this after breaking my original one. You can buy a whole new coffee maker for a few dollars less than this carafe, and I would have if I found the same Krups unit but they don't seem to make it anymore and it makes better coffee than most of these little "Hotel" machines.

Many of the Tanita scales are quite excellent and this one is no exception. Well made the scale supplies and tracks not only weight gain or loss but what it is you are losing.
FOr so many of us that are combining the healthy introduction of healthy eating and working out the simple numbers do not tell you everything you need to know.
It has happened to me everyone says I lost weight and the scale shows half a pound gained but with this scale I see body fat % loss and that is what we are all looking for .
It takes some time to get used to the scale and I am sure I am not using 100% of the capacity of this device yet but all in all it is a critical tool that I use in my personal battle for health.
