Not perfect, but not bad
Like all Microplane graters, this thing is astonishingly sharp and I shred with care whenever I use it. I haven't bloodied the thing yet but I know it's just a matter of time. The design and shape pretty much require it be cleaned in the dishwasher, there's no easy way to clean it by hand. The sliding finger protector works, but it's not great. It's finicky to install and it requires 2 hands to remove. It does serve its purpose when you get down to, say, a small remaining piece of carrot - and you really don't want to take chances barehanding small pieces. Have I mentioned the grater is devilishly sharp? Biggest flaw: the grating surface is too small, given the overall height of the unit. By small I mean short, you have to make many short strokes across the grater as opposed to fewer longer ones to get the job done. In the end, I like it because its sharpness is better than any other grater I've seen, but ergonomically it's a little flawed. Frighteningly sharp, if I haven't mentioned that....

I will say it like this. MY KITTEN is only 7 months old and he's too big to fight in this condo. There's nowhere for him to sit on it. It's great for maybe mice to play on but there's no room for the cat.......hmmmmmm could have fooled me but it's a kitty condo right?

This waste basket is really cool! I look everyday often at Amazon just to see if the company will put this product on sale, or reduce price just a tab more. If they do, my parents will probably purchase the product! But until it does.. its just, a little to expensive for a trash can.
