I ordered four tree ferns from Lee's Tropical Plants and they arrived within two days and they were wrapped exellent for shipping the plants. (I never would have had such a clever thought) The plants are nice size and are very healthy. I think the shipping was a bit high by $5.00 but other wise this guy gets an A+. I bought three from ebay (someone else) and they are miniture, very light green (almost white), pathetic, wormy, and sickly. Lee's is the best I found for these plants and I only give credit when credit is due. Have no fear when buying these hard to find plants from Lee's.

2,000 gallons filtering? I think not.
I used the Crystal Quest pitcher for about 6 weeks and it was 6 weeks too many. This pitcher is poorly designed. It is small, narrow and the capacity is not even close to the 10 cups they claim when the filter reservoir is present. The spout is too narrow so it pours slowly. Water glugs out and splashes all over if you tilt it too far. The lid must be held with your free hand when pouring or it will eject if any water is present in the reservoir. The handle is too narrow and is not comfortable to hold, especially when full.

Even worse than the design of the pitcher, the filters only lasted for a few weeks! I went through three filters in the six weeks I used this piece of junk! Yes, you read that right. The first day, your water will flow through quickly. The second day, it slows noticeably. By the fourth day, it starts to take a LONG time to pass the water through the filter. By the end of two weeks, it could no longer pass a full reservoir of water through the filter within 12 hours! Seriously!!! It would literally only pass about 3 drips of water per minute through the filter after only a few weeks. I can't use that!!! Who can? It was insane! I am one person. I was not even close to using the filter's claimed capacity of 2,000 gallons! I went through THREE filters!! I thought maybe the first one was defective, but after the same performance from all three, that was it. Completely unacceptable.

As if that wasn't enough, another troubling issue is the fact that the filters are put together with some kind of glue or adhesive. Seems to me like a bad idea to expose the water I'm supposed to be drinking to a chemical adhesive instead of using plastic tabs to hold the filter cartridges together. What rocket scientist designed that?

I recommend that you stay away from this product. I was using Britta for many years before this, and I have now switched to Pur. The Pur filter pitcher is superior in every way to this (and the Britta I had), and I have not experienced any issues.

No more dry, tough or tasteless meat...
I saw this product a few years ago on a TV shopping channel and decided to purchase it. This is without question one of my most frequently used kitchen products. You will never have to worry about dry, tough or tasteless meat again. It is hard to imagine eating poultry without an injected cajun marinade. I have given several of these as gifts and everyone has commented on how much it changed their eating habits. Marinating meat without injecting it produces marginal results as the marinade can never penetrate more than 1/4" into the meat. Great gift for a cigar beginner
I bought this gift for my girlfriend's bother-in-law for Christmas. It is perfect for someone who is getting into cigars, it's nothing fancy but it provides to basics for storing and smoking cigars. Great while it lasted!
I loved this mop because you can use whatever cleaner you choose (no need for harsh chemicals). The clothes are machine washable and reusable (better for enviornment - go green). Then one day (after about a year) it would no longer spray. Cannot find problem and have ordered a new one, hoping the problem may be something I may have done; we will see! Ligweight and easy to handle.
